who was fleeing the rebels
What is the best scam email you received ? mine was 11 million from a princess in Nigeria?
Yeah, I won the lottery in about 20 countries worldwide! Isn't it hilarious! And, a middle eastern wrote me for me to donate sums of money to him periodically and I would get 30% back with interest! Where do they come up with this stuff?
Then, I get the ones that claim to be original e-mails from different companies like banks. I even got one from the "IRS!"
Reply:omg they contacted u too?
lol
i got one that not only emailed me but sent me scam letters
the address on the envelope was from canada, the inside reply address in nigeria, and a check from a company in seattle. it was about some lottery thing in canada saying i won

Reply:Which day of the week? I would be so rich if i could actually cash in on any of these lotteries! My favorite ones are the people whose spouse died and left them all kinds of trust money only to find out they have cancer and want me to do the right thing with the millions! Of all the billions of people in this world, I was chosen? LOL but they are pain to delete everyday and add to the block list.
Reply:You didn't get your $11 million like me?? You REALLY got scammed.
Anyway, can't quite figure out the worst. I've been promised mega millions for my assistance. Today my wife got something in the mail about a car dealership liquidating inventory to make way for cars they bought out of bankruptcy from another unnamed dealer. I googled the name on the letterhead and the firm specializes in marketing.
Reply:just a note for all of you who dont know
if you post your email address online
SPAM ROBOTS will scan the page thats how they get your email addy
The way to get around this is to post this link
http://batcave911.blogspot.com/2007/03/s...
the spambots scan that page which has thousands of BAD email addies with links that the spambots follow to thousands more
just make sure the link is "clickable"
(not just copy and paste)
if you get one of those emails
send it (with full headers) to
419.fcd@ usss.treas.gov
419@ 419scam.org
(remove the space after the @ symbol)
there more reading on how to prevent spam on the site

Reply:I actually received an email that looked exactly like Bank Of Americas emails stating I had fraudulent charges on my account and needed to verify my information. Bleh well we know it was a scam and they stole my account information and wiped out my account with charges in Paris. Which I also received international bank fees as well. It took well over a month to get my debit and checking accounts fixed. Needless to say Crimelab lol has learned her lesson. Don't EVER answer anyones emails :)
Reply:Do not fall for it this scam thing has been al over dateline!
Reply:Yep...it's the Nigerian 419 scam..I'd received an email from a suspended Governor in Nigeria for 80 mil. bucks who wanted to flee the country....
I think 419 is one of the largest frauds ever in the hstory of scams...isn't it???
