yes, someone has been faking, and bin telling you that they are part of the yahoo! team. i did not but the real yahoo! address is,
ansewers-alert@cc.yahoo-inc.com
I hope this helped. you should probably e-mal this person who scamed you, or better yet, block them.

Reply:Most likely if it is an email requesting you to give account info or passwords it is a scam. Companies never ask this information through email. Ryan's rule of thumb #18 When in doubt, consider it a scam.
Reply:No, not hat particular scam. anything that purports to come from Yahoo that isn't from Yahoo Answers is fake. Hit the spam button and forget it.
