Has anyone heard of the Nigeria/London 419 email scam (senders name ANTHONY BASIL) dead foreigners email scam?

i recieved a very disturbing email four days b4 christmas, stating that a family member from over seas had died and i was entitled to 9.8 GBP / million.i was to keep it quite and contact them by email only,he was the account advisor and since the death people are trying to take money for them selves and he thought it was wrong.the worst thing is my father has a relative of the same name and location, the feelings i felt was un-explainable,i cryed for about an hour then also thought why wasnt my nan, pop, father or aunty contacted first and some one of the law you would think would come to my door considering its such a large amount, ovious it was a scam the more i thought, spelling errors, bodg name,no letter heads,ABN,i could go on,i done a quick search of names total scam.its wrong that could have caused a heart attach if my grandparents recieved it.i can see how these scammers play on peoples emoitions,i researched that people have been left with huge fees and its only traced to you.ETC

Maybe you should warn your family just in case the scammer tries to get to them. Sorry about what happened.
