Email scam?? Has anyone got any strange email stating that you are the winner of 1 million euro??

I recieved an email saying I was the winner of 1 million euro. It said that a company in england did a random email address drawing and myself and 6 or 7 others had been drawn and each won 1 million euros. I replied and then another email was sent with a form I was to fill out. I did, it asked general personal info, nothing that could put me at risk, and the next reply I got confirmed my claim to the prize and said that because of the terrorist bombings in london, regulations regarding big money transfers had been established...blah blah...etc. So, short story long, in order to process the claim through notary in an english court a fee was required of a couple hundred dollars. It couldn't be deducted from the prize cuz the fee covered the court procedure required to release the funds. It seems awfully fishy to me so I have not pursued it any further.....anyone else hear of anything like this??

This is a scam....they want you to send them some money to cover court costs....then....you will never get the money.....DONT DO IT!!!....
Reply:I have a collection of them, sort of like an internet house of horrors. I have won the Irish Lottery and have two relatives in Africa dying of cancer who wish to leave their fortunes to charity and if I would be so good as to handle the details, I can keep half for my troubles but of course there are some fees to some banks and on and on and on........

Entertaining, actually.
Reply:I get one of then about ever other day and

all I do is send it to spam because that's all it is..

They don't have that many millions to give away...!!!!
Reply:Yeah, I have! It usually "attack" my Yahoo Mail...it sucks! It says I win a lottery, I get a bulk heritage, etc....
Reply:this is a scam, if you did not enter a lottery then you did not win anything,
