How do I report a scam someone is using with a yahoo.com email address?

The email address belonging to nivadexy@yahoo.com is a scam. Basically it appears as a young beautiful russian girl is planning an upcoming trip to the U.S. and wants to meet a single guy. After 3 or 4 emails they then ask you to send money to cover the flight. I have been told the user of this email address gets the names from americansingles.com.

You can try to report it to Yahoo! but, the most that can be done is her account will be suspended until she gets another email account and starts the scam again. Since she is out of the US there is nothing else that can be done about it.





Then I would report her to http://americansingles.com/





Personally, I would put her address down as SPAM or Junk Mail so that any future emails from her would be trashed.
Reply:You can also try forwarding the email to spoof@yahoo.com. They say they investigate it. Who knows for sure?
Reply:Report them to Yahoo. Send Yahoo the problem email.
Reply:This one is gonna be tricky since Yahoo! can't legaly read that person's emails.





However, on the Yahoo! Mail main page on the top right corner there is a help link. Next to the link there is a down arrow, click on the arrow and a menu will drop, on that menu cick on the 'Contact us' option.





There you will find options on how to report this 'abuse'.
