Unscrupulous thieves have sent you this email and they are trying to part you from your hard earned cash. They will often ask you to call a premium rate number and keep you holding on whilst you rack up a huge phone bill. They are then paid a large proportion of this phone bill. They may ask you to divulge personal information about yourself or ask for your bank or credit card details. Do not divulge any such information under any circumstances. It is surprising how many innocent victims have been duped by these types of emails. Please remember the thieves who send them are very clever and extremely convincing. I suggest you delete the email and send it into cyberspace where it belongs.

Reply:Of course it is a scam. But just so you know- any time you get an email that you think is a fake, just point at the links (DON'T CLICK THEM) and read the REAL web address in your task bar at the bottom of your browser. If it says Yahoo.com, but when you point at it, it reads kjbfa.com/kijbkdsjfblskjgblkn or yahoo.kjbda.com/kjbasdt DO NOT CLICK IT! IT WILL BE A VIRUS.
Reply:Did you enter a christmas lottery? You cannot win something you did not enter. It's likely a scam, but if it's legit, you can contact Yahoo and they should verify its truth.
Reply:Since Yahoo doesn't hold lotteries or give away money, it couldn't be very official. It's spam. It's been going on for years. Spam. Spam. Spam.
Reply:If you didn't enter a Yahoo contest, it is definitely a scam!
Reply:scam!
