I rec'd an email :Yahoo! AUNZ Re:Report + a line of numbers , is this a scam email or an email from Answers?

I think Yahoo sends violations emails, but this "Yahoo! AUNZ " didn't look legit so I didn't open it.

Should I report this to Yahoo Answers? And how do you go about contacting them, I can't find the "contact website"? Thanks.

If you have recently reported abuse on the Yahoo!7 Answers site, this will be the confirmation that the abuse report was recieved.

You can contact the Yahoo! Answers team to confirm this:

Reply:Number 3 is correct (as usual). I've gotten them from Yahoo! AUNZ and Yahoo!7 myself for things that I've reported (even when I did not realize that I was reporting folks from that site).
Reply:Hi Isabella--

If the subject line is ambiguous in any way (even if the message says it's from Yahoo!, MSN, Hotmail, or any other source), for your own safety don't open that message; send it to the trash and empty the trash immediately.

Legitimate sources/companies will make their subject line very clear. If you don't know who it's from, or have never heard of the company or source sending the e-mail, safe PC practice dictates you delete the message(s) and empty the trash immediately, getting rid of the messages forever (and avoiding potential security threats).

Best of luck.
Reply:did you loose points they do that if you did not ask yahoo
